 Balsam pull Monday  20th May.  Meet at junction of Maudlin street and Lacken walk 7pm.   Tea ~Coffee after!  bring boots and long sleeve  shirts/jackets, gloves will be provided. Environmental action day in Kilkenny in conjunction with Kilkenny Turas Nua         ( Friday 17 May   ) meet 9.15 a.m.  at junction of Sion rd and Dublin road.   All are welcome.  Email us at [email protected]  or ring  086-2567685 or 086-1075532 to get details.

Illustrated Nature talk by Zoe Devlin Nature Conservationist and Author. 
hosted by Birdwatch Ireland, Kilkenny Branch, Supported by Kilkenny Co Council took place   at Kilkenny Golf Club Tuesday 19th March 2019 at 8pm. A  very interesting evening was enjoyed by the large crowd attending.

KKB AGM  took place on  Thursday 21st   February   2019     7.30 pm  City Hall, High street,

Breagagh/ Circular road/  clean up Kilmanagh rd.,  took place on  ( Saturday 16th and  23rd  February ) in conjunction with Roberts hill residents.

Kells Road., Rose Hill, Coote’s Lane & River Breagagh   clean up took place on  Saturday 2nd March).  Meet Up at Rose Lawn adjacent to Cootes Lane 10 am, Tea ~Coffee after!  bring your wellies. During December KKB hosted a visit by Cashel tidy towns  to Kilkenny, the event was enjoyed by all.

KKB Christmas party took place on Tuesday 4th December 2018 at the Club house hotel, happy christmas to all!

KKB Annual Awards 2018 presentation:   took place on  Tuesday 16th  October   8.00 pm  Springhill Court Hotel, event by invitation only.

Tidy Towns South Eastern Regional  Awards 2018 presentation:   took place in early November 2018 in Kilkenny City the event was by invitation.

Volunteering:  Volunteering Expo took  place on  Thursday 27th  September      11.00 am – 3.00 pm at   MacDonagh Junction.

Tuesday 31st July  – was the last  Balsam pull of season.
Thank you  to all who attended  the very successful Balsam pulls over the summer.

Saturday the 19th May – National award winner 2017 celebration at Birdhill. KKB attended the celebrations in Birdhill. Congratulation on a great day to the Birdhill Committee.

KKB AGM 2018:   took place on  Thursday 15th March     7.30 pm  City Hall, High street.

South East Regional Awards:   Took place Monday  20th November  7 pm  Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh.  Kilkenny City received a prestigious Gold Medal and also a national County award.

National Tidy Towns awards 2017 Dublin.  This took place on Monday the 21st September 2017 in Dublin.

Annual KKB Kilkenny City Awards 2017:   Took place  on the 7th  November 2017. Attendance  was by invitation.  Details of the event and  award results are  posted.
