On Saturday \u00a0the 6th of June 2015 we celebrated the \u00a0success of \u00a0Kilkenny City as overall winner \u00a0in \u00a0the 2014 Supervalue National TidyTowns \u00a0Competition for the second time. \u00a0This\u00a0 major event took\u00a0\u00a0place at Kilkenny Castle Park.<\/p>\n

We were\u00a0\u00a0honoured to \u00a0welcome the \u00a0President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins and Sabina Higgins to Kilkenny for the\u00a0\u00a0 unveiling of\u00a0 \u00a0the National overall 2014 TidyTowns \u00a0winner\u2019s Plaque.<\/p>\n

There was \u00a0musical entertainment provided by St Patricks Brass and Reed Band \u00a0in Kilkenny Castle Park to\u00a0\u00a0welcome the\u00a0\u00a0guests. The day was fine and\u00a0 following the formal event there was a\u00a0 garden party\u00a0 at Butler house.<\/p>\n
