The trail stretches for 11 km and starts at Canal square under Kilkenny Castle. There is also a very attractive \u00a0loop and board walk \u00a0starting at Canal square. this extends \u00a0 as far as the new pedestrian bridge at Ossory \u00a0Bridge \u00a0and back on the opposite river side. \u00a0 This \u00a0loop which meanders through a wooded area \u00a0along the river Nore is \u00a0c.5km in length. \u00a0 The City Loop was only completed in 2014 and it is already \u00a0very popular with visitors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.keepkilkennybeautiful.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/kilkenny-castle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2310\" src=\"https:\/\/new.keepkilkennybeautiful.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/kilkenny-castle.jpg\" alt=\"kilkenny castle\" width=\"457\" height=\"690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.keepkilkennybeautiful.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/kilkenny-castle.jpg 457w, https:\/\/new.keepkilkennybeautiful.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/kilkenny-castle-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 457px) 100vw, 457px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A start can be made \u00a0at Kilkenny castle.
