Throughout Kilkenny our\u00a0 \u00a0many\u00a0pear and apple community orchards are flowering \u00a0in colourful whites and pinks.\u00a0 \u00a0The wild cherry has already flowered. We look forward to the fruit later in the year.\u00a0 Additional orchard and fruit tree planting\u00a0 continues each year at new locations and existing trees are pruned.\u00a0 Attractive orchards can be seen\u00a0 at various locations and estates through out our City.\u00a0 Examples can be seen\u00a0 at\u00a0 Kilkenny castle Park, Waterford Rd. and\u00a0 Bennettsbridge rd. Along the main ring road there is a variety of fruit trees planted interspersed\u00a0 among the overall planting.<\/p>\n
