Kilkenny Aqua Canoe Club (KACC) members went to work on cleaning the river bank from Greens Bridge to weir at the County Council at the end of January\u00a0 and collected some eight black bags of rubbish along with a TV and life buoys. Earlier in the month\u00a0 a further 13 life buoys were collected on the river between Kilkenny and Bennettsbridge, these\u00a0\u00a0 have since been returned to the County Council. The KKB compliment the KACC for their continued support and for their dedication\u00a0 and interest in protecting and enhancing the wonderful river amenity which we have right through Kilkenny City<\/p>\n
