Guided walk at Newpark Fen
To celebrate World Wetlands Day, Birdwatch Ireland Kilkenny Branch, with support from Kilkenny County Councils Heritage Office, lead a guided walk at Newpark Fen on Saturday 1st February @ 11am.

Wetlands Survey talk took place on Wed. Jan 22nd in The Heritage Council Offices at 8pm.

South eastern regional awards. Took place at Terryglass on the 25th November a KKB delegation attended.

Dublin Helix: National Tidy Towns Awards 2019. A KKB delegation attend the official award presentation on Monday 30th in the Helix in Dublin. Congratulations to all in our City who have assisted in presenting Kilkenny at its best though out the year.

IBAL Latest results: Congratulations to all our volunteers who help out with the regular cleanups. This is particularly the case has Kilkenny is No.1 in the country in the latest IBAL litter survey
Celebrate Water Heritage day ( Sunday 25th August 9.30am) a large group met at Canal Square!Bat Boyd chairman of KKB environmental sub committee and Pat Durkin of Birdwatch Ireland Kilkenny lead a biodiversity walk along the river Nore.
