Kilkenny City has been short-listed in  the 2015 Tourism Towns competition. The Awards Ceremony takes place in Dublin later in November.  The key judging criteria are set out under:

  • Local Involvement – How our local community works together to provide an authentic visitor experience.

• Tourism Products Available – What our City has to offer visitors.

• Development and promotion of our City – How our City  takes a unified approach to marketing and developing  into a “tourism town”
