Kilkenny city is honoured at Southeast regional awards 2015

Clonegal was the venue for the 2015 Southeast Regional Awards. Congratulations to Clonegal for hosting a most enjoyable event. Kilkenny city received their 2015 Gold  Medal award and also the County Award during the event.

South Eastern Regional Awards take place at Kilkenny Castle

Kilkenny City received the Gold Medal award

Kilkenny City hosted the South Eastern Regional awards of the Tidy towns on the  4th November 2013. The  event took place at the Parade Tower located in the Historic Kilkenny Castle complex. Kilkenny City  received the Tidy towns  County Award, Tidy towns Gold Medal, the Bord Failte Tourist Town nomination award  and the South east regional award at the event.

Kilkenny City wins in National Tidy Towns 2013

Kilkenny City has  performed very strongly in the 2013 National Tidy Towns competition. Presentations took place in Dublin on the 9th September 2013. Receiving a total of  313 marks,  Kilkenny was placed  just 3 marks behind the overall National Tidy Town winner Moynalty, Co Meath. Chairman David Fitzgerald complemented the hard work  and commitment of the Citizens of Kilkenny, City Authorities and the many Voluntary Organisations  in achieving such a  result for Kilkenny City.

  • South East Regional  Award
  • Gold Medal
  • County Award
  • Tourism Towns Award
