Congratulations to the Sycamores/Aylesbury and Talbots inch residents who joined the Bishops Meadows/Talbots inch weir balsam pick. This work forms part of the Keep Kilkenny Beautiful balsam invasive species eradication programme in the city and environs.

There was a Large turnout for the annual Sycamores / Aylesbury estate spring clean. Tree planting was undertaken and also the repair and planting of the attractive estate flower boxes.

As part of the KKB pilot estate development project Sycamores and Aylesbury residents association hosted a planter basket demonstration undertaken by Stuart Day of the KKB. The estate was recipient of the overall KKB Tidy Towns Estate award in 2013. Congratulation to all who took part in arranging the event.
