John Street:- Street of the year award 2018

John street wins Street of the Year award. 

The judges were impressed with the variety of shop types and businesses, the many excellently painted shopfronts and buildings, the range of flowers, planters and the overall impression was very positive.

Tidy Towns Project street Launch

The KKB are proud to announce  with St Kieran Street Traders  the launch of  Kilkenny  2012   “Tidy towns Project Street “.  Kilkenny Mayor David Fitzgerald  launched the project surrounded by colourful balloons on the 19th April  on St Kieran street.

The KKB are proud to work with  the St Kieran street traders    to develop and promote  the street which is located in the historic centre of the City. It is proposed to  organise events during 2012 and showcase all of the best of Kilkenny in this pedestrianised  street of cafes, restaurants, boutiques, bars, bookshops and  hairdressers.
